Private-training
intention

This is not a packed rec class. Sixteen athletes. Marc’s eyes on every rep. The feel of private training, in a small group, at a rate that is actually affordable week after week.

Open to middle school and high school athletes from all sports. Randall, West Plains, Canyon, Ascension Academy, Tascosa, Amarillo High — and families who make the drive from Vega, Groom, Nazareth, and Claude. Sixth graders and seniors train in the same lab.

Weekly training

Stay fast. Stay explosive. Stay game ready.

Every Saturday is a structured progression designed to complement — not interfere with — sport practices and competitions.

  1. 01

    Speed & acceleration

Sprint mechanics, first-step quickness, and top-end work that shows up on game day.

  2. 02

    Change of direction

Cuts, plants, and deceleration — so they can stop as well as they start.

  3. 03

    Power & explosiveness

Jumps, med-ball throws, and hip drive without frying an in-season body.

  4. 04

    Coordination

Rhythm, timing, and movement quality that make every other quality usable.

  5. 05

    Strength endurance

The capacity to keep producing late in the set, the quarter, the match.

  6. 06

    Mobility & recovery

Range they can actually use — so the work sticks and the body lasts.

Questions

FAQ

Where do I actually sign up?+

On CourtReserve, the same system TGC uses for programs and events. Register buttons on this page take you there to choose the season or a drop-in Saturday and pay. Log in for member pricing; guests can create a free account.

Do we have to be TGC members?+

No. Club membership is not required. The lab is open to the public, with special pricing for TGC members.

Who is this for?+

Middle school and high school athletes from all sports. We train kids from Randall, West Plains, Canyon, Ascension Academy, Tascosa, and Amarillo High — and from Vega, Groom, Nazareth, Claude, and across the Panhandle. Grades 6–12, same Saturday lab.

When do we have to register?+

By Thursday at 11:59 PM for that Saturday’s lab. Register in CourtReserve — season-pass athletes sign up once for remaining weeks; drop-ins pick a single Saturday.

How many athletes?+

Sixteen. Small private groups on purpose — private-training attention, affordable group rates. Season-pass holders are counted first. Drop-in seats are whatever remains that week.

What about recovery?+

Register for the full Performance Lab event and a $30/month student recovery offer is initiated — unlimited monthly Fire & Ice and Normatec recovery boots only. Not available for drop-in. Book Fire & Ice (TGC Tennis Center) and TGC Fitness at (806) 412-4206. Book Normatec boots directly with Dr. Reed Brannon at Sanders Fit & Rehab Therapy, inside TGC Fitness, (806) 282-7087. Dry needling, cupping, and other SFRT treatments are available onsite and are not part of the student offer.

What should they bring?+

Athletic shoes they can sprint in, water, and clothes they can move in. Arrive ten minutes early.

Will this interfere with practice or games?+

No. One hour, programmed to maintain speed and power without dumping extra fatigue on an in-season week.
